Communities aren't battlefields, they're commons. The only ones we have left.

Anyone here who researches or works with ACT (acceptance and commitment therapy/training)? I'd love to connect and learn more about the work you do.

@Aditi My usual strategies (although sometimes I don't bother): Snacks and/or a good red wine. A favorite TV show streaming or on DVD in the background. Usually dividing things into smaller segments so I can finish within a week or two while also doing work stuff I enjoy.

Sitting in my office and grading exams. What do you do to make it easier? My stack of exams is making me want to stop and take a nap!

Hello Academic Tooters (#AcaTooters), as promised, this is my first thread for desi academics (thought not limited to) who want to connect with each other in this new space, and create a virtual support system. Please introduce yourself under here with your name, field, area of research, geographical location (optional). Once we have the thread going, I'll create a list.
Will be also holding future threads on conference, publishing, writing, and other #AcaWoes you can think of.
