My concern is that he also tried to bomb the facility itself, which put innocent detainees at risk.

That is an excellent point, especially because our media lies all the goddamn time. I do think it is important to be able to say that that tactic is not ok, even as we encourage anti-fascist action.

@Cyborgneticz @scottishwobbly @nuttgodd he was fire bombing buses across the street from the facility

I've seen around 3 or so articles saying he was also targeting buildings. Granted, I am skeptical. My entire concern is what tactics people will use going forward.

I completely agree. Collaborators and fascists deserve what they get. I just don't want the people who need to be liberated to be hurt by our side.

@nuttgodd @scottishwobbly O I'm a street medic and am always on the side of antifascists. We need good tactical training, especially good affinity group tactical trainings.

Yes! There also needs to be more sharing from older leftists who have been involved in mass mobilizations and long term occupations pre-OWS. I'm only 27, but a lot of my friends have been folx involved in the Miami protests and Katrina responses and whatnot and because there isn't a lot of conversation between older leftists and younger leftists the tactics that worked get lost.

@nuttgodd @scottishwobbly @Cyborgneticz my understanding is the buses and tank were all across the street. he then got in a gun fight with the cops
