Things that aren't actually real:

* The Free Market (it's just words that rich people say when they want to diffuse responsibility for their own bad decisions)
* Intellectual Property (it's just words that rich people say when they want to keep Mickey Mouse from going into the Public Domain, or make you buy a new computer)
* Unpaid employment (it's just "exploitation"—c.f. "adjunct professorships")
* Ethical consumption under capitalism (eat the rich??)

Cherry blossoms at the South Coast Botanic Garden. The whole park is curated, with some parts arranged to seem wild(ish) and others, like this one, more garden-like.

"Rather than a property that may or may not be exhibited by a system, resilience is interpreted here as the emerging result of a dynamic process. Said process represents the dynamic interplay between the behaviors exercised by a system and those of the environment it is set to operate in"

I think what I really liked about Relife is how honest it is. It's an open secret that a lot of the popular high school anime airing are actually watched by adults who like to think about their high school days and what they'd want to do differently if they could do it over with hindsight. They have uncharacteristically mature protagonists that are supposed to be self-inserts for the adults watching the show. Oregairu is especially clearly that.

Relife is completely transparent. It tackles the issue of why adults would like to do over their high school days and what they'd want to do directly, with no pretense.

In a rather unexpected twist, it started snowing again. Not so good for the #sakura, I hope they'll survive it. #photography #
