@ErikaAlpert Frankly, I would've appreciated some emoji from a teacher, though we didn't have those...

@platypus Yeah in this day and age I do all my grading in the online Turnitin interface so I have all the emoji I could wish for at my disposal.

I started off my tenure in the professoriate stubbornly grading on paper, because you DO get a better sense of the whole work that way, but honestly this is way less hard on my body.
