My dad's farm is three miles from the Missouri River, so it got to spend some time in the river last week. The house is fine, most of the buildings ate okay, there's a slight chance he could sneak a planting in this spring. But he says it's his last year farming - this will be the last of a few bad years. I'm happy Dad is happy with this decision, and he has other options, but I'm sad it had to end like this.
