@SummerSchool

I tried to continue the tradition of making terrible memes for 2022 by getting an AI to give me some ideas for them and jeez I'm sorry I asked

(Sign up to present until Fri Jul 1, 2022!)

Why hello there.
Did you know that July 1st is the deadline for presentation submissions?

If you've been on the fence about submitting now is your time!
We are able to have the conference because of all y'all. Your presentations. Your assistance in moderating. Your showing up to watch presentations.

The roster is already filling up with some exciting talks - we're really looking forwards to them!

Summer School 2022

I have two ideas for a talk.

(Poll is not binding!)

I signed up to present at #SummerSchool. I did it last year, and I believe that these kinds of informal conferences are just as important as the formal ones.

I proposed a talk called "Potentially illegal amateur radio transmissions" about one (of the many ways) we can rethink the #AmateurRadio hobby to meet 21st Century needs and 21st Century people.

#HamRadio #HamR

Have you been working on some awesome research & been itching to share it with others in a relaxed, interdisciplinary environment?

Well then, is for you!

We're accepting abstracts for presentations until the 1st of July!

Moderators & participants are also needed.

OK, I am going to do one of these

What would you be interested in me yammering about in ?

Alright I guess it's poll time

1. my dissertation is an analysis of US presidents and their interpretations of key concepts in American political discourse

2. a breakdown of autoethnography, what it is, and why should we care about autoethnography

3. current project that is about analyzing disability through a Nietzschean lens

I'm thinking about presenting something for #summerschool, but I'm not sure what to talk about. Making a poll below. Or suggest an idea if you know me!

Poll context: LIAS is a complex library database we started building here in 1978ish and highlights would only be highlights of so far.
