@ozretrocomp I can't stop smiling; Thank you so much :D
@sunsetmoth I'm using @aral's https://sitejs.org; it instantly refreshes the page whose content changes on disk
I got a lovely reminder today that projects I worked on in the past may seem like ancient memories to me, but will be new discoveries for people when they find them later.
As a person who's most familiar with making live performances, asynchronous creativity at times still feels like a magical new idea.
Keep making stuff.
Keep sharing stuff.
@kura lawful neutral aiming for chaotic neutral.
@morgan you're welcome 😊
@morgan Hi I'm currently using lineageos from microg on my moto x4 and the experience is much better than just lineageos. Sensitive apps do and will complain about the unlocked bootloader and refuse to work but other than that it's okay. My banking apps work, so does google maps but no gdrive backup for whatsapp. Hope this helps!
A #library is a great example of an institution where humans collaborate with each other for motives beyond profit. It is a place where it is easy for everyone to understand how our relationships with strangers can be more than mere commercial transactions.
A library is, in a way, an #anarchist space dedicated to knowledge.
It has rules and we observe them out of respect, not fear.
It has experts whose authority is not arbitrary, but knowledge based.
A library is a sanctuary from capitalism.
@ColinTheMathmo they're called mixed /fractions/ here in India; didn't know they're not universally known 🤔
@kranfahrer heyy 👋
Last night a Dutch sailboat docked next to us, everyone already here came to greet them, we spent the last hours of sunlight exchanging stories, or making castles with play cards on the dock with their kid.
I feel pretty lucky to partake in these limnal sort of impromptu events, made up of people who meet in these little overlapses in their lives.
TIL that bees are not herbivores, but are, in fact, omnivores. They’re eating all these little microbes on pollen, which seems to be a significant source of protein for them.
@csepp thank you for introducing me to this :D
Frustrated
Stammering is so f*ing frustrating. Messes up any self esteem I have left; makes me feel the /speaking is so natural and everyone does it even toddlers and yet you can't/ kind of worthlessness. Constantly reminded of it by my own mind because speaking is the primary way I communicate. Underdeveloped communication abilities as the alternative to hiding in a dark room all these years was constant mental pain. I want to cry under the stars right now but the climate outside doesn't allow.
@csepp it /is/. Found about it through Breaking Taps on youtube https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9TYlQ4urcg8
