CW: Confederate history, policing, false equivalence
This article from CHE highlighting the UNC system's plan to create a mobile police force is wild. I don't know where to start, but let's just say that there is no equivalence between damage to a monument and neo-Nazis running around with torches. This kind of false equivalence is exactly what happens when you hire a member of the FBI to come up with a security plan.
Is #AcWriMo a thing? Anyone I know in the GLAM sector interested in being an Accountability buddy with me?
