If it's a "volunteer" or "community service" thing, ask yourself:

🍍 Is it exploitation? Are private parties being enriched at the expense of the less powerful in exchange for "exposure," "experience" or vague promises that it will "help your career"?
🍍 Is this a way of giving necessary work that is uncompensated and unrecognized to women, while freeing men to advance their careers?
🍍 Is this an opportunity that is only accessible to those who are already well-off, because it is un-paid?

@bgcarlisle You're asking hard questions lately. Loving it!

@bgcarlisle I think it is a way to keep classes widening and growing. The rich believe there is no end to their avarice, but the three generations now coming up with no hope of opportunity will be their undoing.
