I've heard about static CMS which are now pretty user friendly. I don't find about the link again, but dynamic websites arn't always necessary

@brownpau @bgcarlisle I find Bludit (flat file CMS) fairly sufficient for my needs. But also is use an engine of my own design.

Neither are as polished as WP, but they work :)

@bgcarlisle but the moment you have to run that site locally for theme editing, the story is much different. I've had as many difficulties with PHP and MySQL as I have NPM and Git.
