This is a joke

The German word for "pants" is "lederhosen"

Which comes from the German word "leider," meaning "unfortunately," and "hosen," meaning "pants"

Which sums up how we all feel about pants, if we're being real about it

Did you know that the german phonebook started the same way as facebook?

It used to be a way to look up who has lederhosen or dirndl, but it was too long to write so it was just shortened to phone dir(nld).
