New finds this week:
- 무너지기 (Crumbling) by 공중도둑 (Mid-Air Thief) https://midairthief.bandcamp.com/album/crumbling
- Arvo Pärt: Tabula Rasa https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tabula_Rasa_(P%C3%A4rt)
Trying my first serious project using #Rstats. Impressed so far, but I do feel a bit silly when I have to check the docs to find the right syntax for everything from for-loops to print statements.
I feel like any visualization of voting districts which doesn't account for population density is inherently deceptive. This page by Mark Newman shows some great examples: http://www-personal.umich.edu/~mejn/election/2016/
Seeking eReader suggestions.
I've amassed a collection of research papers and copyleft textbooks I'd prefer to read with a dedicated device rather than my bulky laptop. I run #Linux and prefer to use #FOSS tools when advantageous. I've heard good things about Kobo+koreader, but I would love to hear everyone's personal experiences. Hoping to find a system I can keep using as I approach grad school.
