Watching minute by minute updates on birdsite to see if there will be a complete bus shutdown in Vancouver tomorrow or if last minute negotiations between union & employer will lead to a deal. They have about 15 minutes to make the midnight deadline. Already cancelled a bunch of meetings on campus for tomorrow.

The campus has been planning for this for a week. We literally don’t have enough parking for all the people who usually take the bus, even with carpools. Could be interesting. The Sr leadership is encouraging telecommuting where possible.
