too much work

I’m trying to figure out what it is but when I’m beyond super busy I just shit down from social media and curl up in a ball and head down do my stuff. So that’s why I’ve been quiet here. Much head down curling in a ball.

too much work

But now I have a bit of vacation so maybe I’ll be back for awhile. I hope so. I do have a tendency to crawl into my shell when stressed though.

@chendricks utmost solidarity with you on this. It becomes impossible to follow any feeds. And FOMO exacerbates everything! Have posted warning message to my profile in hopes that peeps won't be offended.
Is there a way to do all this that makes it something to turn to in times of stress? That's my hope for fleeing twitter to the fediverse...

@kidwellj Posting a message to profile sounds like a great idea. Otherwise it seems like one may have just dropped off completely when instead it’s just a matter of hunkering down and concentrating on essentials. Agreed on hoping there’s a way that this place can be one to turn to in times of stress I think some do. I’m finding my default is to turn internally and hide. Not sure that’s the best.
