Uncertainty around a change of field is plaguing me at the moment. When you vaguely enjoy something, but know you don't really like it enough to dive deeply, it's probably a sign to leave it alone right?
@crecerelle it depends, like a complete knowledge base isn't something anyone has. If you have the material support structures in place to keep going, it can be good to.
Also depending on the field you came from, the field you've gone to, and how you feel about both, the perspective of having switched fields can be important or otherwise valuable.
@f_loki I guess I've realised recently that I'm just not passionate enough about what I've gone into to really excell, particuarly as it's going to cost me £35,000 over the next three years to complete my re-training in it.
