On a small thing I made for 3D art...

I've been surprised how difficult it is to engage students and colleagues with 3D modelling/printing.

Beyond the utopian narratives of metaverses and replicators, there is little appetite to explore the tooling, which they bounce off quickly.

This weekend I made a simple web tool to convert greyscale images to 3D meshes. It's a work in progress(!), but I hope it can be a quick way to create 3D models from quality hand-drawn sources.
