Now is very much Not The Time For This, but after reading these student essays I want to know whether / how screen readers indicate font styles & shifts for the visually impaired.
One student wrote about technology & mentioned in passing that they’re legally blind. Their works cited section has an interesting mix of fonts & styling that seems like an artifact of copying & pasting from the cited websites, so I’m curious whether screen readers pass styling info on audibly.
