I think games are better at expressing some things than other media. I list some examples, but I probably missed others, so please tell me what I missed.
@jaranta I'd probably amend #1 to specify certain kinds of relationships between things, e.g. physical, mechanical, etc. Maybe you could generalize that as "rule-based relationships."
I don't know that I've yet seen a game that's as competent as a great novel at expressing personal relationships, as a counterexample.
