Jane Goodall said the same recently.

The problem(s) are well identified, but nobody knows how do solve them at the speed and scale needed. Even scientists throw their hands in the air at the futility of expecting global political-economical cooperation on reducing human exploitation of the planet.

Planet-wide ecology will play out, and our species, and all the better ones, will adapt to it or suffer the consequences. That’s the only sure thing.
