@ljwrites It's such a great little device!

every once in a while i find myself needing to explain why punk and metal and other sad, angry genres of music are so comforting and honestly i think it just comes down to feeling less alone in these feelings. the world is an overwhelming place and it's nice to know others are also raging at it sometimes

Periodic reminder that "Just google it" is dangerous advice. You're asking someone with professed ignorance of a topic to wade through a sea of adversarial SEO hacks and deliberate misinformation. This is how people fall for e.g. the propaganda from Autism Speaks.

@socrates has the server been struggling lately? I've had trouble loading the timelines, posting etc.

@dillydogg This is also my approach, but I rarely write down anything that merits transferring.

@dillydogg The road to hell is paved with thinking everything will be perfect after this one last configuration change.

@mmin I tried it a bit back, but found it unintuitive then. Maybe I should tried again.

Does anyone have experience with both zk and nb? (both are note-taking tools) Anything you would like to share?

@rysiek @csddumi @tek @pluralistic Just a short note: a study can be deeply flawed and unethical while not being "human subject research". That is just one of the specific ways studies are checked since human subject research can easily do the most harm.

@jfsantos The only thing that kept me from switching earlier was a plugin for Jekyll that built an automatic list of publications from a bib-file.

@IngaLovinde @cadadr@weirder.earth I just noticed that we're running out of coffee. I blame you.
