I'm interested to see if this can become a viable community, but there is no way I can leave Twitter behind. Whatever its flaws, public outreach is part of what I have to do, and the audience is too big to abandon...

@electricarchaeo @aejolene @jstpwalsh Yep - right now, I'm still all about and instead of or. I'm the opposite - I post very little on Twitter, but unless romancelandia moves here, I'll have a toehold there. And I have one Facebook group that I will never leave.
Yep. It takes some effort to move off Twitter. But, there's starting to be a critical mass of people over here. We just need to agree to talk on this platform, not the other.
the other place i've found induces a lot of anxiety, from multiple lines. trying to be mindful not to check in here as much too.
Yes. I'm finding I get less noise here.
@jstpwalsh I'm not ready abandon because the community is so robust and important to me but I think its really key to set up some alternative spaces to keep all the eggs out of the 1 or 2 corporate baskets.
