Pulling off a big one with colleagues at soon. We're organizing a multi-hub workshop in San Diego and Vienna with shared keynotes. Each hub tailors to its specific audience & needs. We stress regional, cultural differences and needs because successful scicomm & public engagement depends on the specifics of target groups! Our global components allow the hubs to interact & think through general principles. Stay tuned!

Hello everyone! My name is Manolo Martínez. I am a philosopher, working on the philosophy of mind (mostly issues having to do with mental representation) and the philosophy of science (several issues in biology and cogsci). My website gives more details:

Trying to put together a self-help Python summer curriculum for philsci & philcogsci friends (incl myself) to collab with their scientists & do some beginner lit tracking.

What are the basics? Currently got version control, notebook for learning & teaching, Python basics ( & Python Crash Course) + packages for dataviz & neuroscience/perception work (e.g. visual stimuli). Might also throw in graph database if it's useful for the lit part!
