every paper i read cites at least 2 other papers that i immediately add to my "to-read" list. it's like a hydra, this will literally never end.

@nimirea My "to-read" list, unfortunately, has become like a bucket with a hole in it. Once it reaches a certain volume, I find that adding more just means more that I never get around to reading.

@nimirea That's why I only read papers if at least one author is six degrees of Bacon.

My dad once advised me that if something looks important, I should read it immediately or otherwise I'll probably never return to it. A couple of years into my PhD, I'm feeling this more and more.

I initially accidentally wrote “A couple of tears”. Hmm...
