@Prof_Birch I don't know for sure. Maybe hypotheses.org might work, if you invest enough time. I think, it might be the best option for humanities.

So I think scholar.social might be working for some people, but not for me. All I get are #introductions. So maybe I'm doing something wrong, but there is no discussion about research. So do not wonder, I will not longer be an active part of this. I thought it would be interesting, having a "facebook" without all facebookingshit, but this format does not work, at least not for me, which may depend on myself. But I have not enough time to figure this out. Thank you all.

@declawedboys i think (but i might get it wrong) that this is not the same as my last point. It is, in my opinion, more a position in the dogmatic cotroversial of 'understanding zhe scripture' than a question of how theology was done.
Some points of my #research are:
- historical eras are fluid
- our pictures of these eras are most often established by the receptional "winner"-era and do not describe the reality back then
- to understand the #confessional #lutheran #era in the #earlymoderntime (#orthodoxy) you have to understand thei use of literal genres - i.e. you can not find various "vital" religious behaviour in a dogmatic stripture because this is not made for the religious live but for the religious knowning
@lychee it is ca. 1500-1700. Early enough? (early modern period is a term, we in germany say "Frühe Neuzeit". In short words, it describes the time between the middle ages and the 18 century/french revolution (1789). But as always, there are no strict borders and you can always discuss any description of a chronologial period, more over if you look closely at any regional context) #earlymodernperiod #FrüheNeuzeit #
@aristoxenos didn't attend him, but believe you ;)
