There's limesurveys (FLOSS) too, but maybe someone has a better one.

Any good free software to conduct a public survey? (Like, but other than google forms?)

Also, where can I read about how to choose Representative Samples while conducting a self-report based (in mainly). Is it in the literature on statistical methods? Or Cognitive Biases? Books on Research Methods? Any other? Where do you suggest I look?

The Blind Men and the Elephant, by John Godfrey Saxe.

(6 blind men encounter an elephant, each touches a different part, and argue whether that the elephant is like a wall, snake, spear, tree or a rope.)

"So often theologic wars,
The disputants, I ween
Rail on in utter ignorance
Of what each other mean
And prate about an Elephant
Not one of them has seen!"

Natalie Merchant sung this beautiful poem:

Every time I switch to a different app on my computer, if it has a text field, that field is full of j's from when I thought another window had focus and I was trying to move to the next item in a list

A bit of context to the scene in my header Image.

It's a dialogue between Bactrian King Milinda/Menander, & the Buddhist sage Nāgasena, from around 1st-2nd Century BCE recorded in a buddhist text, Milinda Pañha.

Just discovered .
It indexes your document collection & provides a full keyword fuzzy search on it's contents and metadata.
A personal Information Retrieval System.

I'd been painfully adding titles to database all this while, had even completed 1.7GB of total 16GB. I don't think I would do that anymore.

For those who stubbornly seek freedom around the world, there can be no more urgent task than to come to understand the mechanisms and practices of indoctrination.

Doctor: I'm terribly sorry but the tests are back. Your child is artistic.

Parents: (sob)

Doctor: Now don't worry, it's not the end of the world. Your child will never have the mind of an executive, but with modern innovations like Etsy, Patreon and Kickstarter, they may be able to pay rent well into their mid-20s.

Parent: Did... did crayons do this

Doctor: Who can say? We're exposed to so many forms of art every day: music, poetry, language, geometry..

Parent: We're getting crayons BANNED

rust silliness

Because then the last word would have been awholeparagraphseparatedwithhyphens.😄

Why do whitespaces count in those 500 characters?
"Upto 50 words (give or take)" would've been so much more intuitive.

If Donald Knuth started a conference on innovations in typesetting, he could invite people to give...

Latex Support would be so cool.
