Hello everyone! I'm a PhD Candidate in English at University of Wisconsin - Milwaukee studying digital rhetoric and technical communication. Most of my current research is on network system architectures, publics, and the rhetorics that drive and shape them.

Public posts will focus on research, technical, and related topics. Unlisted posts will be far more eclectic. It's been awhile since I dived into a new social media hub. I look forward to seeing what develops.

Not a bad morning, I added a few pages on prep for the next chapter of the dissertation. It's mostly pre-wriiting, but it's always good to have something to talk about before meeting with your dissertation advisor.

I often feel that I'm just rehashing the same arguments. Essentially I could summarize the chapter by saying: software and hardware are sociopolitical constructions --> please stop pretending they are not.

This popped up in another feed, but I thought it may be of interest here. The Midwest Association of Language Learning Technology has extended the deadline for proposals for their 2018 conference to September 15th. mwallt.org/event-2894486
