Incoming voicemail from an uncertain future. Pick up. Is it still human?
New video coming out soon! Even if we’ve been working on it, on and off, for more than an year, it’s as actual as when we started.
If anyone is into object oriented ontology or ontology in general, and how it might relate to the idea of ”the commons” and to how humans interact with nature, here's an audio essay that tries to explore just that: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EwzWTIdhYRQ&list=PLYwRoppBbEekRBcL-A9IEU8x0zlZHiuIP
Here's something you might be interested in: a podcast episode on free software, intellectual property and versions of our future. #introduction currently studying sociology, but i wanna do too many things. very much into education, worried about the anthropocene & i really love spring. also, researching & writing for an animated video project, just wondering.
My day job is to illustrate privacy related things along cypherpunks and activists, and tbh I have a thing for contradictions and self-referential things
Hello everyone, this is a 'trained' illustrator/animator who got lost into philosophy while making a short-animated video series called "just wondering...". I'm currently researching/reading about object oriented ontology (or OOO or triple O) and the speculative realism movement in phil. Also, I'm planning/working on two other animations about #cybersurveillance and the #anthropocene. Besides #ontology and #epistemology, I'd love to dive into #sociology and #anthropology
I've made this wallpaper with a quote from Ian Bogost, a philosopher and game designer we're reading for our explorations regarding ontology. It's weekend, so it might be the right time for it.
