Aaron Swartz. Born on this day! November 8, 1986. He would have been 33 today.

November 9 will be observed all over the world as Aaron Swartz Day — an annual event to celebrate Aaron Swartz’s legacy as an activist, programmer, entrepreneur & political organizer.

Hackathons would be organised, where diverse & passionate folks would gather & exchange ideas with each other, who believe in Freedom of #Information & #Education and Securing Digital Space for all.

Remember 9th November! 💜

The search.f-droid.org website is significantly faster again now
It's now only searching through name and summary of an app (instead of all possible fields).

Please try it out and see if it still finds the apps you expect with the keywords you expect.

Bless LibGen, honestly. Even when I have access to things via "legitimate" channels, LibGen is so much EASIER.

(And this as much as anything is a tremendous indictment of academic publishing.)

I've been occasionally working on some simulations of the phenomenon of Percolation. It is written in Python. Do check it out! Criticism and advice are welcome!
