Searchability on Mastodon
When I first started with Mastodon, I thought it's so limited that we can only search by hashtag, not full text, and that seeking users is limited.
I'm slowly realising that this is a feature: Mastodon is not intended as a big data mining platform where you need to find everything ever written by anybody on a topic, but as a more organic discussion platform.
Quit using Mendeley people!
They started encrypting your database so you cannot easily move it over to other tools any more.
That link also helps you saving your data before it's too late.
(Elsevier are a bunch of crooks, blocking interoperability one-way and not the other. Almost as bad as Google blocking uBlock for your safety...)
