@mrkrndvs excellent question that I think we should all ask. I'm pushing for individuals that are "healthy skeptics" and question everything they read (especially online) to garner whether this is credible (truthful) and relevant (useful). I think we also need individuals (kids) that can find/read code so they can understand what they're giving up in the exchange.

@Algot agreed, as we hear people thinking about deleting Facebook, it's interesting to think about what is included when we talk about "friends." I also was talking about Place today (professional/personal learning networks). It's interesting to see how they all interconnect and modify our thinking about the world.

@Algot the session went well. It's always interesting when people Google one another. It's interesting the strategies they use, as well as seeing how savvy certain people are as they craft their digital identities.

@Algot really interested in this question about the difference between a personal and professional friend.. and an aquaintance. Interested to hear how others make these distinctions.

@Algot I don't know why the tweet wasn't showing up. Super weird.

@ruth thank you for the feedback/support. It can he unnerving to think/talk about. It's been helpful to see how it resonates with others.

@Algot I think so. I think we're increasingly heading that way.
